Rocky Mountain News Article & More

In today's paper there is an article about my trip and all of the fund-raising efforts. Thank you so much for all of you who have taken a moment out of your day for me...

Also, 9News is doing a two-part story starting tomorrow (Wednesday) night at 10pm. I anticipate the story will recall moments from my accident all the way through to highlighting the goals and expectations I have for my upcoming treatment. Stay tuned!

Ryan, I would first like to thank you for giving me the chance to get to know you since having you freshman year for Physical Science. I never realized it at the time, but you truly are a remarkable person, especially having to deal with kids like myself, and still showing up to work day after day. Having spent more time in your office this past year has given me an appreciation for your dedication that, as I'm sure you could guess, wasn't present as a 9th grader. I wish you the best of luck, and hope you have a great experience where ever this may take you.

Ryan, we used to work together at Red Robin. I think I've only talked to you once since I left work, but I saw your story on 9news and found this blog through your website.

I am glad to see that you are doing well and have kept that optimism that makes you such an awesome person. I wish the best of luck to you, and will continue to read your blog.

Ryan,

I'm so excited for you and your upcoming journey! Your story is such an inspiration. I have so many fond memories of you from growing up: Foxridge, you driving me home from school, hanging out at your parents house. You will be in my thoughts and prayers. I hope your procedure goes well and that it's all you expect and hope for! :)
